all classes are OPEN level & thus suited for all levels and abilities, beginner through advanced.
[sculpt] classes will provide more strength training, while [sweat] classes will be more cardio-focused. Our hybrid [s+s] classes focus equally on both strength training and cardio. Grippy barre socks are required for all classes. Our higher-impact POWER class requires sneakers.

Q: Do I need formal dance experience to take an allongée® class?
A: No way, allongée® classes are for everyone, dancers and non-dancers alike. There is no formal dance training required to take an allongée® class.
Q: Are there different levels to the classes?
A: All allongée® classes offered are open level. What that means: newbies never fear, there will always be a variety of skill levels in each class. In fact, we feel it's the best way to truly learn the technique. Yes, some classes are slightly more challenging than others but all classes are open to all experience levels.
Q: How big are class sizes?
We host semi-private sized classes so the experience is as personal as possible. Our classes generally run with between 4-8 students.
Q: Do I need any type of dance shoe or attire to attend class?
A: No dance shoes required, but you will need a pair of grippy "Barre Socks" for class. This includes any sock that covers the foot and has a rubber studded bottom for traction. We have these socks available at the studio for purchase ($14)). (allongée® POWER requires sneakers).
