Some things I think are important...

So, there is a very good reason as to why I have been seriously lacking in the blog department-- my apologies! I am hoping to have some really great news to let you all know soon, and I mean really awesome news. News to top all of the past awesome news-- really! I thank you for your patience so far! Now on to things that you will also find important... New Rittenhouse class times, new scheduling, & the yummiest cold soup I've ever had. The BEST COLD SOUP I'VE EVER HAD:

So yesterday as I tried to find a place to grab some quick lunch, I wandered into this rather massive sandwich/soup/salad shop in CC, Brodo. I had been craving some soup for a while, but its been too hot for anything but a cold one. I'm a little wierd with cold soup, as it has to be pretty special for it to wind up in my bowl. Brodo had me pretty intrigued with their watermelon habanero soup. It was so perfect-- not only did it rep bodyLOGIC in color, but the habanero packed a serious punch-- much like our killer workouts!

Cold Soups


If you have been to the schedules/reservations page of our website, you will have noticed that scheduling is running a little differently.. much simpler. We have switched to a great scheduling software that will allow you to easily view and manage your schedules with your own online account. You will also have the option to purchase classes online via credit card. You do still have the option to purchase classes in studio with cash or check.

New Classes:

By your requests, we have some new class times in Rittenhouse this month: Sunday, 5:15-6:30PM as well as Thursday, 6:00-7:00am Power Hour. These classes will begin the second week of August.


bodyLOGIC will be running on a compromised schedule 7/30-8/5. We will resume with a full schedule on 8/6. Fallon will be teaching all scheduled classes, and handling all things as I normally would. The most accurate version of the schedule will be found on the "Reservations" page of our website (click RESERVE NOW for weekly schedule through the fall).

I will be blogging next week, for newbies as well as for those of you "not so newbies".

Thursday YUMs: Grilled Tilapia with Mango Avocado Salsa

Ken's mom made this last year as a special for me while I was in NY at American Ballet Theatre. I LOVE this summer dish! It is super easy to put together and is quite delicious every time. :)

The salad that you see on the left and right was even easier.. because I didn't make it! It was a tabbouleh salad from Whole Foods. It was really a good, multigrain, refreshing and healthy pasta salad to side my dish. I would definitely recommend their salad bar to those of you that are in a time jam as far as dinner for the evening goes.

What you will need:

4 Tilapia Filets

2 Avocados, Skinned & Pitted

2 Mangoes, Skinned & Pitted

1 Jalapeno Pepper, stem removed

How to LOVE it:

I was able to get all of the ingredients mixed and smooth pretty easily by using my processor/blender. You may add more Jalapeno to taste if you are feeling a more spicy dish for the evening.

We grilled the tilapia in tin foil for 5-6 minutes on each side.

I placed the salsa mixture on the plate under the tilapia, and topped the fish of with it as well!

Again-- Thank you ALL for being so patient with me. I have been working on so many things, it's been impossible to keep up with it all! I have some great and exciting news coming for you next week! :D I can't wait to share! So as I was grocery shopping a few weeks ago, I came across some Hemp Seeds. Pretty interesting, I thought. I've been seeing Hemp seeds a lot lately, and was especially impressed with their nutritional value. A serving size is just two tablespoons, and contains more protein than an egg!

They contain all 9 Amino Acids essential for muscle repair and growth, as well as plentiful Omega 3 Fatty Acids (good fats, unsaturated) for optimal metabolic function and immune health. With just two tablespoons per serving, these can be added to plenty of meals in a variety of seamless ways!
