Sara grew up as a competitive Irish dancer, and fell in love with dance and fitness. She began teaching Irish dance classes in 2001.
In 2007 she discovered yoga at a local gym and took her first class. It wasn’t until 2013 that she began taking yoga classes regularly and saw a change in her day to day life. Growing up a competitive Irish dancer, Sara found a newfound flexibility in her body that she never knew was there before. The transformation that occurred on and off the mat is what fueled her decision to enroll in yoga teacher training. After completing her 200 hour Power Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 at CorePower Yoga, she began teaching shortly after. Sara’s ultimate goal each class, is for every student to learn something new about themselves, while truly connecting with their body.
In addition to teaching Allongée and yoga, Sara also teaches Irish Dance in the Philadelphia area, and is a certified Zumba instructor. She currently resides in South Philly with her husband, Keith.
