Hey y'all! I am back with some fun things and hoping to get back to posting these exercise-less lifestyle posts on the regular again! We've just had SO MUCH happening behind the scenes, and we can't wait to share what we've got en queue for you over the next few weeks!
First thing is first; let's get back to business with some meal prep. One of my favorites – healthy chicken breakfast sausage. It's super easy: all you need is 1 pound of ground chicken, an egg, one heaping tablespoon of each: fresh rosemary thyme and sage, some salt and pepper, 2Tbsp of maple syrup and some bread crumbs!
- chop up your herbs (about as finely chopped as your patience can handle; mine never goes too far 😂).
- Combine your chopped herbs, ground chicken, egg, salt and pepper, maple syrup and breadcrumbs in a large bowl.
- Put 1tsp of coconut oil on a small skillet on medium heat. Allow it to heat up to a slight Zimmer before placing each of your party is on to the cooking surface. About 3 to 5 minutes on each side should yield a perfectly juicy and perfectly browned sausage patty.
you can keep them in the fridge if you will be using them over the following few days. They can also store for a bit longer in the freezer.
