Moving from NY, Philly became a slightly unfamiliar grounds for me to fully enjoy my favorite fashion season- Fall! With temperatures in the 60s-70s through much of October & November, it can be quite trying to find a week's worth of outfits and accessories that match the literal season as well as what it actually feels like outdoors.
People often tell me I have too many clothes (which by the way is complete nonsense because obviously there is no such thing! 😂), but it's really more likely that it just seems that way. I am YOUR GIRL for stocking up on staple items for the season. It makes for countless combinations all season long, making it seem like my closet is endless. These next few months, you'll probably see me strutting around donning a few of my favorites:
1. Ankle Booties : Camel, Black, Grey, Leather, Suede, Heels, & Wedges... Find a great cobbler and you'll complete your collection faster than you know it (Highly Recommended: Villa's Shoe Repair on 19th at Spruce)
2. Neutral Handbags: They go with EVERYTHING.
3. Sweaters: Crops, Oversized, Turtlenecks, and Boatnecks, sweaters are another staple item that can be paired with anything from leggings to go to and from the studio to A-line skirts as seen below.
4. DENIM: 80's mom jeans are coming back strong (PS I found my best pair of vintage Gap Classics at Buffalo Exchange in Center City for $15) and I really can't help myself.
Speaking of which, I broke all of my rules as seen below when I decided to do the whole "denim-on-denim" thing. Luckily, the perfect fall day helped to make it seem like a pretty cute choice.
