You may or may not know this, but vitamin and dietary supplements are not regulated by the FDA prior to being released. It's alarming, and it's also very true.
However, there is a much better way to ensure that you're receiving the right amount of necessary vitamins and minerals in your diet.
Just start eating RAW & colorful.
Of course, there are quite a few of us that have been recommended by our doctors to take a certain supplement for a purpose. You should always consult your physician prior to taking a vitamin/dietary supplement.
However, by replacing a meal/snack a day with assorted raw fruits and vegetables, we are able to supply our body with the amino acids minerals and enzymes naturally found in these fruits.
Many of these enzymes are destroyed during freezing, thawing and cooking, so the RAW part is very important- Even juicing (which I love!) can limit the dietary fiber we get from these raw foods!
