The allongée® technique is a unique blend of our own signature exercise choreography. Each class is both functional and efficient, designed with you and your time in mind!
Inspired by the lean yet strong physiques earned through formal dance training, the allongée® technique was designed with the busy yet health conscious woman in mind. Each 30-60 minute class is packed with our own high intensity, low impact CardioBallet choreography to slim and sculpt, as well as our own CardioBarreBand prop sequences for a unique cardio-infused sculpting experience that pumps out an amazingly fit & beautifully lean body in record time!
Meet Our Creator
Jillian is a graduate of University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance. Jillian is a classical/contemporary dancer and a life long fitness enthusiast. She originally created the allongée technique as pet project during her time in undergrad after noticing a need for well rounded fitness option for women.
Jillian has extensive experience with classical, contemporary, modern and post modern dance techniques and has had the opportunity to work with many renowned choreographers, teachers and mentors including Karen Lynch, Anastasia Babayeva and Denis Gronostaiysky, Christopher Fleming, Christine Cox, & Andrew Pap, to name a few.
She has trained dancers of all levels, from infant to beginner to professional. Her students have gone on to train at prestigious summer and year round programs including CPYB, American Ballet Theatre (NY), The Rock School for Dance Edcucation, Paris Opera Ballet (FR), The Kirov Academy (Washington, DC), and PNB (Seattle, WA), & many more. Her students have placed in high gold, silver, and platinum statuses at competitions both regionally and abroad.
In addition to teaching allongee classes, she is also a Ballet Master at Edge Dance Center (NJ) for the intermediate, advanced, and pre-professional divisions. Her instruction style is a unique but purposeful mix of Balanchine stylization backed by the strength and precision of the Vaganova curriculum.
